NAACP’s African American Honors Program

This year’s NAACP’s African American Honors Program will be held on April 21 at 6pm at the Firefighters Reception Hall, 241 Victory Lane in Lincoln. Started over twenty years ago by the NAACP, Lincoln Branch in collaboration with Lincoln Public Schools, the NAACP Honors Program recognizes African American graduating high school students with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

LPS Superintendent Dr. John Skretta will welcome to the group and DeMoine Adams, CEO for TeamMates, will present the keynote address. In addition, this year’s NAACP’s Community Service Scholarship winners will be announced at the Honors Program and we will have the drawing for the winner of the donated quit.

This year, under the theme “We The People,” we are proud to host our community at the brand-new Malone Center, located at 2110 U Street in Lincoln. We are honored to feature a keynote address by the Honorable Henry Hamilton III, Federal Administrative Law Judge.
